Mercedes-Benz has decided to replace the naturally aspirated 6.3 liter AMG V8 with a twin-turbo 5.5 liter V8 engine by 2011. Thomas Weber, member of the board at Daimler AG Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development, decided this and is planning for 2011. All cars in 2011, will feature these engines. Turbochargers will also be imported, that means that every engine made in 2011 will be turbocharged. The first engine changes will be remarked and debuted at the 2010 Paris Auto Show, that will be on next September.
