Inside Line's Twitter and Facebook page explain that the Ford Mustang GT will have a new engine for the 2011 model. Actually, the engine is called the Coyote, but it is a 32 valve 5 liter V8. The engine will produce 412 horsepower and 400 lb-ft (542Nm) of torque. It will compete against the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS’s 422 horsepower engine and the 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8’s 425 horsepower engine. The car with the new engine are supposed to make their debut at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
