Indianapolis 500 gets every year a new special edition pace car. It has usually been Corvettes, but this year, the 2010 Camaro has gotten the honour. The car was first shown Friday at the Speedway's Hall of Fame Museum. The car is painted in orange metallic with a two white stripes coming down the middle. The Indianapolis 500 logo is printed on both doors of the car. An extra model is available: the stickshift version. The car features a L99 6.2 liter V8 engine producing 400 horsepower, while the stickshift model gets 426 horsepower LS3 engine. The car will make it's public debut at the Indianapolis Auto Show on December 26, 2009and will make it's race debut on May 30th, 2010, at the Indianapolis 500.
