9ff Speed 9 is Official!

This year's Essen MotorShow has brought lots of surprises to the automotive world. One of the very exciting products revealed at the show was 9ff's Speed 9. The car is based of the 911 Turbo, but of course, as tuners do, they pimped it up a bit. Let us explain...

The tuners have added a new exhaust, VTG Turbochargers and a ECU updated system. They have also complemented the car with a 700hp engine, coupled to a 6-spped manual transmission gearbox. Various other features were also added to the car, included an interior completed in Alcantara, front and rear spoilers, as well as new side skirts. You can have the roof hard top or soft top. Finally, Continental Force sport types with 19 inch rims have been added.

9ff GT9-R details

9ff has finally given us some details from their newest car called the GT9-R. This car will have a limited production of only 20 cars and 9ff says that there will be two more options for performance. As you might already know, the car produces 1120 horsepower and 1050Nm of torque. Top speed beats the Veyron again by having it pushed up to 418 km/h and 100 km/h is reached in 2.9 seconds. But, this not just it. 9ff has revealed two more possibilities for it's GT9-R. Here is the first option:
A 4 liter 6 cylinder boxer engine producing 750 horsepower. The top speed is pushed to 380 km/h.
The seconds option is this:
A kit producing 987bhp and a top speed of 409 km/h.

We have had pretty good coverage of the 2009 Essen Motor Show here on toofastcv but we have mist 1 car; the 9ff Speed9!

This car was rumoured before it was unveiled that it wound go topless, but that was in August. And guess what? It is! The car is 9ff newest project and is based on Porsche's 997 Turbo. The re-stylised rear end pays homage to the Porsche 356/1500S Speedster of 1955. The Speed9 also features a Bi-Turbo 650 horsepower engine producing 890Nm of torque. All this power is achieved with the help of a sports air filter, a re-programmed ECU and a 9ff sports exhaust system including a sports catalytic converter, all coming through a Porsche tiptronic gearbox. The aerodynamic upgrades; front apron, side skirts and a rear apron are complementing the car's handling while the adjustable stabilisers on the front and rear axles, double springs and four aluminium spring plates help control the extra horsepower. The 9ff brake system provides the excellent stopping power.

300th Post: Veyron-killer

A new car is made. It is called the 9FF, and its FAST!!! It is made by Porsche and it is beautiful!!!
The top speed is 255 mph and the acceleration is 0-100 kph: 4.2 seconds which make it the Veyron killer. The price though is very high, it is : $350,000!!! Another way to call it is the GT9, which is by far the best Porsche ever made!!! This car is like a Ferrari Enzo but made by Porsche and A LOT faster!!!
