Germany's Future; PART 1
Part 1; Porsche
In the past year, German car companies Porsche, Audi and BMW have came up with three cars that will change he way we think, design and engineer cars, forever. All three hybrids have electric engines, and can still be considered as true sports cars. I'm sure you will not be surprised you hear the mystery men's names. Porsche 918 Spyder, BMW Vision and Audi E-Tron.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is probably the most exotic, most exclusive and beautiful of the three. Porsche surprised the automobile world in Geneva after revealing the car. It's the next Carrera GT, but Porsche has magnificently kept the car as green as possible. The car's 8-cylinder 3.4liter engine (500hp) is neighbors with an electric motor that produces 218hp (160kW). The car also consumes only 3 liters per 100 km and only 70 g of C02 emissions. Porsche has integrated four driving modes into the car. The first is called E-Drive and make the car go 25 km only using electricity. The second is Hybrid, which helps the vehicle use it's electric motors to lower carbonates. Now for performance. 0-100 km-h in 3.2 seconds. Top Speed; 320km-h. Yeah, it's a super-sports-hybrid car alright!
